It doesn’t matter if you are planting a new church, shepherding a small flock, or leading a mighty congregation – the call to make disciples rings true for all of us! Remember Jesus’ powerful words in Matthew 28:19-20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
This, my friends, is the Great Commission, the very heart of what it means to be a follower of Christ. Fulfilling this mission isn’t about building the biggest building or having the most impressive programs (though those things can be wonderful blessings too!). It’s about creating a community where hearts are transformed by the love of God, and believers are equipped to share that love with the world.”
The strategy? It all starts with love, with a genuine desire to see others come to know Jesus and experience the joy of following him!
