Tonight, we will be focusing our prayers on the truth and factual reality. May these both be revealed during this last week before our national election day. It is God who brings the truth to light, so we can always ask Him to do that. The Bible says, “…test everything, and hold fast to what is good…for nothing is covered that will not be revealed or hidden that will not be known.” (1 Thessalonians 5:21, Matthew 10:26)

There are character and policy issues that need to be clear for all to understand, so let’s pray that “whistle blowers” and other credible sources will be used by God to bring all the true facts out into the open for the world to see.

Biblically, we are encouraged to pray about the things which we do not fully understand, so God has graciously promised to answer our request. He gave us this timeless invitation, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and mighty things which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)
