With 22 million Assemblies of God church members in 130,000 congregations, plus the 3 million Baptist members in approximately 15,000 churches, International Evangelism is setting a decade goal for equipping 25% (6 million) of the 25 million members of these two Brazilian denominations.
With their seminaries’ full participation and the highly dependable Model Church strategy proven in Venezuela, we look forward to partnering with them this year in equipping their first generation of trainees across the nation. We expect the Church of God, Nazarene, conservative Methodist, and Presbyterian churches to also join in this kingdom effort.
Brazil will likely be leading the world in disciple-making in the very near future.
Needless to say – that’s a lot of books!
To our great joy, we have become partners in ministry with a dedicated huge Baptist printer in Sao Paulo. He is now saving months of time for us with each printing, as compared to our many years of printing in India, (and the associated long waits for processing and shipping).
We hosted Mauro and his wife Marilene in North Carolina last month. We enjoyed sweet fellowship with them, and our hearts are united and passionate for fulfilling the Great Commission.
In addition, thanks to Maruo’s deep commitment to disciple-making, we can now print in high quality with only 1,000 sets of material to get started in each needed European language!
