Homegoing of My Dear Friend

Dear Friends,

On Monday, August 13th, I would appreciate your prayers for the William Morris family in Houston, Texas. William, my close friend and Great Commission teammate for 52 years, is now with the Lord. I will be speaking at his memorial service. Few in Texas’ last century have had the combined passion for prayer, witnessing, and strategic giving that so many of us were blessed to see in his life as a businessman for Christ.

Thanks for last month’s prayers. The Philippines and Thailand went great! Now, we need your intercession for next Sunday’s evangelistic message at St. Andrews outdoor covered chapel on beautiful Lake Toxaway in North Carolina. Then, for September 11-16 in Puerto Rico, our team will be speaking to an estimated 350 pastors and about 800 to 1,000 of their church leaders. This is in preparation for next November’s Discipleship Summit on the island. Today, by faith, we have just ordered 10,000 sets of disciple-making material for that week’s leadership’s teaching and training. Thanks as always for standing with us in the Great Commission!
