It’s graduation day for these new disciple-makers in Central America!
Some of our churches, especially throughout Latin America, love to hold a special ceremony for their growing believers who have completed both “Call to Joy” and “Call to Growth,” who are then ready to begin discipling someone else for the first time. Here’s a bit more insight into what is pictured in these images…
When new & growing believers are thoroughly discipled, equipped with the tools to follow Christ, pray effectively, and share their faith confidently, they become catalysts for further spiritual growth. Just as a skilled craftsman passes down their trade to an apprentice, these maturing believers can then mentor others, creating a ripple effect of faith. This process, much like a chain, links one generation of believers to the next, ensuring the ongoing vitality of the church.
This model of spiritual multiplication is essential for the long-term health of any Christian community. As disciples mentor new believers, they not only impart knowledge, but also instill a passion for reaching others & helping others grow. This ongoing cycle of discipleship ensures that the church remains vibrant and impactful, fulfilling the Great Commission in a repeatable and powerful way.
