BillieHanks Prayers and Praise2 • Becoming a Disciple-Maker

Thankfulness for Bolivia

Bolivian leaders expected 200 to 300 decision makers to join us in Santa Cruz for national Great Commission planning for 2020-30. Thanks to everyone’s prayers – a few more than 500 actually arrived! Some drove 1,600 kilometers from Argentina, or 24 hours by bus from Paraguay. The teams from Chile and Uruguay flew. These highly dedicated leaders are now planning to implement the Bolivian strategy.

On October 17, 2020 – 2,000 or more churches with from 7,500 to 10,000 teams-of-two small group leaders will be equipped by a six-hour simulcast on disciple-making. These teams will repeatedly lead disciple-making groups of 8, 10, or 12 for two 12-week semesters. Bolivia’s 3-year partnership prayer goal is to equip from 50 to 100 thousand disciple-makers annually. They will covenant with God and their group members to have a daily quiet time and faithfully pray for the privilege of sharing their faith in Christ. Their goal is to baptize one million or more new believers during the next three years! They are standing on God’s statement to Mary teaching us that – “…with Him, nothing is impossible…” (Luke 1:37)

Our small ministry team is currently in Manila, so please pray with us for the 60 to 90 Christian Bible colleges that have invited us to the Philippines. We will also be meeting with the bishops who lead the nation’s 64,000 evangelical churches to follow up on last February’s Celebration which was preached by Will Graham.

In the Great Commission,

Billie

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
(Matthew 24:14)
