Easter Weekend Ministry
We are thankful for the ministry opportunities the Lord provided over Easter Weekend in South Africa. As many people traveled back to their home churches, there was a special openness and energy for ministry during this important season.
A Door Opened Near Pretoria
One of the highlights was the opportunity to share the Becoming a Disciple-Maker vision at a combined Easter rally north of Pretoria. Seven congregations gathered together for the celebration, and it was a great encouragement to place the vision of disciple-making before so many believers at once.
Growing Interest and Excitement
We are also encouraged by the strong response from a group now beginning BDM training at Berea Baptist Mission Church. There is real excitement, and it is clear that the Lord is building confidence and momentum.
Strategic Next Steps
In the days ahead, we are praying for further conversations with key leaders, including the Evangelical Alliance of South Africa and three Baptist seminaries. These relationships could open important doors for mobilizing pastors and expanding the reach of disciple-making in the country.
A New Opportunity in French-Speaking Africa
Another exciting development came through interaction with a group of French-speaking pastors. That experience made it clear that French translation may be an important next step. With so much of Africa touched by the French language, this could open the way for ministry far beyond one country.
Please pray for receptive hearts, wise next steps, and lasting fruit from these open doors.
