Last week was a remarkable answer to prayer at Mountain Doxology. Twenty-seven evangelical leaders from Brazil, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Ecuador, and Chile assembled for 2 ½ days to plan for their:
- National, state, or denominational selection of each country’s best pastors to be equipped to lead disciple-making Model Churches.
- Selection of the best schools in their country to be equipped to serve as Model Disciple-Making Institutions.
We did this based on Mark 4:8,
“Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.”
Please pray that God’s very best soil will soon be found in each nation so spiritual multiplication will steadily increase over this next decade.
Next week, on March 31st, the national evangelical alliance presidents from 17 countries will arrive, plus 13 other key leaders and seminary presidents. They will be coming for the same Great Commission planning. This will involve many thousands of churches, so prayer and more prayer will be needed!
We will be sending our team to all 23 Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries to lead their Model Church equipping workshops in as many locations as needed. Brazil alone will require eight or possibly 10 regional Disciple-Making Workshops, so 23 nations will call for a massive effort. Each nation is therefore being asked to make a three-year phase one commitment.
