Tonight, the Southern Baptist Convention’s #2 Leader for the International Mission Board’s ministry across Africa will be joining us. Tomorrow, we will be having focused prayer with in-depth discussion about the potential of using digital sets of IEA’s disciple-making process. They want to equip a large number of seminary and Bible college students in numerous English speaking countries. The logistics for this effort will potentially utilize the designated $100,000 that David Shanks and I donated several years ago. It is wonderful to be in the position to help dozens of seminaries without the challenge of getting printed materials to each school. However, as we know, that need will soon follow unless each country’s African church members have digital capability.
Bill and Sharon Morris’ 2018 land sales have produced the other needed designated funds being used for August and September’s work with the Asia Theological Association’s 310 seminaries in 33 countries, and the Philippines’ 90 evangelical Bible colleges, plus several of their key seminaries. Approximately $30,000 of these greatly appreciated funds have now been used in support of our Asia-wide seminary and college disciple-making initiative. We currently have about $79,000 in the Morris’ Designated Ministry Fund.
Let’s request the Lord’s wisdom for tomorrow’s important meetings!
In Shared Vision,
Billie
