“The Church of God in Honduras was honored to accept the invitation from Dr. Billie Hanks Jr., participating in a week of strategic training focused on “How to Become a Disciple-Maker.” The training was led by his team at Doxology Mountain in North Carolina. Our nation was well represented by our National Superintendent, Bishop Oscar Luna, and our Ministry Care and Development Coordinator, Pastor Victor Zúniga.
Disciple-Making is a biblical, relational, and dynamic method centered on the model of Jesus and Paul. At its core, it is built on authentic, God-centered friendships, where love becomes the foundation for one-on-one spiritual growth. This approach is not meant to replace or compete with any existing discipleship programs. Instead, it serves to strengthen and fulfill the mission Christ gave us—to make disciples of all nations.
Let us remember: making disciples is not optional. It is a Divine command, calling us to walk daily in commitment, grounded in the Word, and in constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit—so that the Church remains aligned with its true Owner, God Himself.
We are deeply grateful to Bishop Alejandro Fernández and Bishop Gerardo León for their gracious hospitality and their steadfast support in this sacred and vital task.”
