BillieHanks Prayers and Praise2 • Becoming a Disciple-Maker

Christmas Letter 2018

In answer to the prayers of our ministry’s friends, International Evangelism has been blessed to conduct one or more Disciple-Making Workshops in the following countries during 2018 – Philippines, Puerto Rico, Canada, Thailand, Costa Rica, Panama, Uruguay, Mexico, Paraguay, Columbia, Spain, Germany, Bolivia, Brazil, Romania, and Ecuador.

Our largest day of training was in Manila last February where we equipped over 4,000 dedicated small group leaders and their pastors. This February, we will be joining Will Graham there again with the prayerful expectation of seeing 50,000 to 100,000 hear the Gospel each night as he preaches. Then, in March at Mountain Doxology in North Carolina, we will be privileged to host 150 Spanish-speaking evangelical leaders from 20 nations. They will be working with us on developing a unified strategy for equipping many thousands of disciple-makers to help evangelize their countries. In April, we will launch New Testament disciple-making nation-wide in the Dominican Republic and return to Puerto Rico for phase three of their island-wide ministry initiative.

Throughout next year we will be carrying out this same ministry plan in Thailand, Panama, and several other countries with partnering Evangelical Alliances. Chinese training will be a major portion of next year’s outreach, so your prayers will be greatly needed for that ministry. Clearly, God uses our prayers to open the hearts of spiritual seekers, so we greatly value the intercession of our spiritual teammates.

In the months ahead, we look forward to working in close partnership with many Christian seminaries, universities, and Bible colleges as they use our new digital format for training their students in English and Spanish.

As you pray this Christmas and throughout 2019, we believe that the Lord will wonderfully bless your stewardship. We praise God for every gift that He is enabling you to make toward advancing His spiritual kingdom through your church and other Great Commission ministries like IEA. Your assistance is always needed, and we deeply thank you for standing with us. May you and your family be warmly blessed by the accompanying devotion as we join together to celebrate the timeless meaning of our Savior’s birth!

In His Joy of His First Arrival,

Billie

“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.”
